What Bookshi is

Bookshi (bookshi.hu) is an online appointment booking and calendar management platform. Businesses such as hair and beauty salons, therapists and sole traders create a booking page with their services, staff and opening hours. Their customers use that page to book an appointment online, and receive confirmations and reminders by e-mail.

A Bookshi online időpontfoglaló és naptárkezelő rendszer. A szolgáltatók (pl. szalonok, egyéni vállalkozók) saját foglalási oldalt hoznak létre a szolgáltatásaikkal, munkatársaikkal és nyitvatartásukkal, a vendégeik pedig ezen az oldalon foglalnak időpontot, és e-mailben kapnak visszaigazolást és emlékeztetőt.

How Bookshi uses Google user data

Sign in with Google (scopes: email, profile): we receive the user’s name, e-mail address and profile picture identifier only to create the account and sign the user in. We never see the Google account password.
Google Calendar sync (optional, only after the user’s explicit consent): Bookshi writes the user’s Bookshi bookings into a dedicated “bookshi” calendar in the user’s own Google Calendar and, in two-way mode, reads busy time slots from the user’s other calendars so that those times cannot be booked.

Data received from Google is used only to provide these features. It is not sold, not shared with third parties and not used for advertising. Bookshi’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Users can disconnect Google Calendar in the Bookshi settings or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
